Regulatory fiddling burns platform roaming

Wherever I turn I see the debilitating effects of the UK’s lack of joined up government. As an example, my wife is trying to build a restaurant and is trying to reconcile the different challenges of planning permission, building control, environmental policy, disability rules and licensing laws. None of these were established for bad reasons, but their combination leads to one major law: the one of unintended consequences – more about this later.
Your views on a clear and transparent pricing strategy
Platform pricing has had something of a grand appearance in the media, and indeed on the blogs, over the last few weeks and so here’s an overview of what we’re up to and what to watch out for.
For 10 years, we’ve operated a simple bundled pricing model where the cost of our platform services are automatically met out of the charges on the funds we host.

Cofunds’ vision for the future
Yesterday Martin Davis, Cofunds’ CEO, laid out his vision for our future. Here’s a brief summary for anyone who missed it.
Since 2001 Cofunds has developed solutions in response to industry issues. For example, we were launched to solve the problem of manual collectives administration. Then we expanded to service other sectors – from discount brokers to custodians. This versatility has made Cofunds one of the largest platforms in the market. Indeed, we’ve been profitable since 2008 and have over £40m of regulatory capital. Not only that but we have been and will continue to reinvest profits back into the business.
What’s next for Junior ISAs?
