If everything prior to 31 December 2012 is to be counted as legacy business – advisers will continue to receive trail commission on this legacy business.
However we need to keep the rules on what is legacy and what is new advice VERY SIMPLE otherwise the administration associated with fund switching, for example, will become overly complex.
